Description
The Triumph HD 850 is a laser rangefinder from Vortex that offers a lot of functionality in a light, compact housing. With a range of up to eight hundred meters (depending on the surface), it is suitable for medium and long-range shots. Various functionalities of this laser rangefinder make this even easier.
Lenses and display
The fully multi-coated lenses have 5x magnification, which ensures a sharp and bright image of the target. A transparent LCD screen is placed over the lenses, displaying information. The distance, viewing angle and the circle used to aim the rangefinder can be seen here, among other things.
Measurement modes
- LOS: (Line of Sight) shows the actual direct distance with a single measurement.
- Scan: continues to scan continuously during measurement.
- HCD: (Horizontal Component Distance) shows the ballistic distance.
Target modes
- Normal: shows the distance to the object that has the strongest light reflection from the laser.
- First: displays the nearest reflection.
- Last: displays the furthest reflection.
